Martha E Hughes

Martha E Hughes, age 83, of Thorn Hill, TN was born January 19, 1939 and passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022. She was saved at an early age and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Martha enjoyed gardening and loved flowers, her favorite flower was irises. When it was nice out on the weekends she liked to go to flea markets and yard sales. Martha was preceded in death by her parents Mack Kyle Collins and Gertie Ferguson Collins, brother Kyle Collins, first husband and father of her son Herbert 'Hub' Hipshire, her second husband Maynard Hughes, and granddaughter Kelly Elizabeth Hipshire, special friend and brother-in-law Len Davidson, and several brother and sister-in-laws. She is survived by her son Mack Keith Hipshire and wife Jennifer Renee Hipshire. Granddaughters Kacy Marie Hipshire and Sky Kelly Hipshire. Step son Bobby Hughes and wife Beth Hughes. Special niece Brenda and husband Herb Ping. As well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday May 10th from 7 until 9 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday May 11th at 2 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Collins Family Cemetery in Thorn Hill.
