Nancy Ann Gallagher

Nancy Ann Lawson Gallagher, age 48, of New Tazewell TN, was born October 12, 1971 and passed away on February 26, 2020, at Fort Sanders Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was saved at Riley Memorial Baptist Church, where she attended regularly. She was a loving daughter, wife, and mother. Nancy was a hard worker, she worked as long as she was able, until her three and a half year battle with cancer prevented it. She worked at Ingles for 14 years and Walmart for 14 years and will be missed by all her coworkers. In her spare time Nancy enjoyed putting together puzzles, and finished two just a few days before she passed away. Nancy is preceded in death by her father John Henry Lawson, maternal grandparents Hubert and Marie Surber, paternal grandparents Tyler and Lillie Lawson, mother and father-in-law Judy and James Gallagher, and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband James R Gallagher Jr. of 23 years. Daughter Rebecca Gallagher. Son James Gallagher. Special daughter Novalea Shepard. Mother Mabel Lawson. Sister-in-laws Cindy Boeyink and Debbie Valasity. Brother-in-law Timothy Gallagher and wife Cathy. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, several aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends. Special aunts Mary Rouse and Darlene Tatman. The family wants to extend a special thank you to Claiborne Medical Center and Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center and Coffey Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Saturday February 29th from 6 until 9 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday March 1st at 2 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. The graveside service will follow in the Rouse Cemetery.
