Robert T. “Buster” Estes, Sr. age 93 of Mulberry Gap Community in Hancock County, Sneedville, TN was born June 7 , 1920 and passed away May 29, 2014 at home. He was a lifelong member of Mulberry Gap Baptist Church. He was a World War II Veteran of U.S. Army Horse Calvary until it disbanded, then transferred to the U.S. Army Air Corp. While stationed in Waycross, GA, he met his beloved wife, Thedys Smith Estes; he was an lifelong avid coon hunter and loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his wife Thedys “Ted” Estes; parents, Charlie and Nannie Greer Estes; son, Robert T. “Bobby” Estes, Jr.;
brothers George Estes and infant brother; sisters, Grace Long and Jessie Crumley.
He is survived by his Daughter: Barbara Sue Estes Taylor
Granddaughter: Tandy (Todd) Mallicoat
Grandson: Brickley Taylor and Kim
Very special great granddaughter: Taylor Mallicoat
Sister: Betty Burchett
And a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 3 P.M. Saturday May 31, 2014 at Mulberry Gap Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 3:00 P.M Saturday at the church. Graveside service 2:00 P.M Sunday June 1, 2014 at Mulberry Gap Cemetery with Military Service.
