She was saved at an early age. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben H. Greer and Harvey Lee Rice. Father and Mother Clarence & Bessie Maples Overton, Daughter & Son in-law Margaret & Colby Brooks , granddaughter Melissa Greer Tabor; Brothers, Orville, Herbert and Earl Overton; sister, Myrtle Collinsworth.

She is survived by her Children: James “Jim” D. Greer

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Friday at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Saturday September 21, 2013 at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery.
