

Woodrow Campbell, age 98, of Tazewell, Tn. passed away on Nov. 26, 2010 at his home. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church since June 5, 1927. He was a WWII veteran, the oldest living in Claiborne County, where he served in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Central Europe and Ardennes, earning EAME Theater Ribbon with 5 Bronze Stars. He also won the Good Conduct Ribbon. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Campbell and Cordia Jane Cunningham Campbell; brothers, White, Alva, Fred, Hurbert Campbell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Virgie Mullins Campbell

Grandsons, Jeromy N. and wife, Ashley Collins and Nathan S. Collins
Granddaughter, Tiffany M. Campbell

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends from 6-8PM Sunday , Nov. 28, 2010. Funeral service will be at 11:00AM Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at the Coffey Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jackie Day and Rev. Jerry Peck officiating. Singers will be Linda Miller and Elizabeth Musham.
Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers: Joe Paul Campbell, J.M. Campbell, Lee Campbell, Oscar Nelson Campbell, Jeromy Collins, Nathan Collins, Dennis Campbelll, Billy Campbell, Eddie Collingsworth and John Miller.
