Charles Feltner

Charles Feltner, 70, of Union City passed away Friday Feb. 17, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. Charles was born March 3, 1941 in Brownsfork, KY to Lee and Sarah J. (Campbell) Feltner. He married Lillie Edwards Aug. 5, 1968 in Spring City, TN. She survives.

Charles worked in the manufacturing industry his entire working career. He enjoyed spending time with his family, spending time outdoors, but he most enjoyed working in his garden.

He is survived by his wife Lillie, a son Chuck (Dusty) Feltner of Union City, a daughter Sarah Feltner of Union City, a stepdaughter Tammy Elkins of Marshall, six grandchildren and a brother Cova Feltner of Tekonsha. He was preceded in death by his parents 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Visitation will be Tuesday Feb. 21, 2012 from 4-8 PM at Putnam’s of Tekonsha. Services will be Wednesday Feb, 22, 2012 at 11:00 am with one hour of visiting prior at Putnam’s of Tekonsha. Pastor Charles Sparks officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Tekonsha. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
