Anthony Avery Suggs

Born on October 22, 1967, in Savannah, Georgia, Anthony was the son of Robert Lee Suggs of Maryland and the late Frances Nelson, who passed away in July 2025. He built a respected career as a professional P & D driver with TForce, formerly known as UPS Freight, known always for his strong work ethic and steady dedication.

Outside of work, Anthony cherished his adventures with Melina. True travel partners who had explored the world together all over, they shared a deep love for seeing new places.

Anthony’s greatest pride, however, was always his family. He is survived by his wife, Melina; his children, Antonio Harris, Keith Coney, Andrew Coney, Kristina Coney, and Tavis Fields; and his cherished grandchildren: London, Andrew, Antonio, Kobe, Marcus, Apollo, Awesome, Rashad, Ahsaad, Kiyomi, Kahlani, Kimora, and Milani.

He also leaves behind his father, Robert Lee Suggs; borother-in-law Jerome (Loshay ) Willis, numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family members; and his favorite cousins—Eunissa, Tyajuana, Neocia, Tia, Shonna, and Desma, all of Savannah, Georgia.

Anthony’s steadfast spirit, love of adventure, and deep devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617, US, on September 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617, US, on September 12, 2026, from 11:00 am and will be followed by a reception of family and friends.
