JACKSON, Bennie Ruth, age 82, of Tampa (formerly of Edinburg, Texas), passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016. Bennie enjoyed crocheting and knitting. On Veteran’s Day every year, she would donate her handmade afghan blankets to the James A. Haley VA Hospital Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her sons, Johnny Clyde and Rusty Lee Dungan. Survivors include her daughters, Margarete Ann Wiesehan, Bennie Lynn Hilton & Gay Wynn Dungan; daughter-in-law, Irene Dungan; grandchildren, Kimberly Berg (Michael), Pamela Groves (David), Michelle Green (Richard), Mickey Hilton, Johnny & Ryan Johnson (Kimberly) and Ashley Kinsey (Billy), Christopher & Wesley Dungan, Victoria, Rusty & Brandon Dungan; and great-grandchildren, Emerson, Jackson & Davis Berg, Aiden, Gabriel & Wesson Groves, Jake, Adam & Ashley Green, Seth & Sophia Johnson, Kaiden Johnson, and Kaylee, Kaydee & Kaycee Kinsey.
