

Casper was born in Tampa as the baby of nine children. His father, Clarence Johnson, passed away from a tragic accident before Casper was born. His mother, Stella White Johnson, and his eight siblings grew up grounded in faith and loyalty to each other.
He is survived by his wife, Sonia A. Johnson; daughters, Lolita (Jeff) Hoffmann and Darlene Johnson; daughter-in-law, Marlena Johnson; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Rose Johnson-Hoover (90 years old), Hugh Johnson (87 years old), and Alwin Johnson (83 years old). He was preceded in death by his son, Clarence H. Johnson
Casper was known for his quiet strength, devotion to family, and dedication to building a business that supported those he loved. He cherished traveling, family gatherings, and sports, and his kind spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Friday, November 7, 2025 at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace. The funeral service is scheduled for 1pm, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the same venue, Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel.
Following the funeral service, a committal service will take place at Lake Carroll Cemetery, 2401 Myers Lane, Tampa.
