

Danny was born on July 8, 1960, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, and was proud to be the very first child baptized at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. He later attended King High School, where he built lifelong friendships and strengthened his love of sports and competition.
From a young age, Danny developed a love for golf. His passion for improving his skills, competing, and enjoying the game remained an important part of his life. He went on to serve as President of the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club, and also cherished his time playing golf at Glen Arven Country Club in Thomasville, Georgia.
Danny found great joy in life on the farm in Monticello, Florida, where he and his beloved wife Mary shared many memories together, including raising and showing Nubian goats. He was also a devoted Florida Gators fan, cheering for all their sports programs, especially football. Beyond sports and farming,Danny loved spending time with his grandchildren, Bryce-Noah and Arabella. He especially enjoyed taking them on magical trips to Disney.
Danny is survived by his wife, Mary Fischer; his children, Greg Fischer and Anastasia Fischer; his mother, Marie Fischer; his sister, Kathryn Salgado; his niece, Mallory Swidersky; and his nephew, Justin Man-Son-Hing. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy C. Fischer, and his brother, Michael Fischer.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club, 200 Inverness Avenue, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
