HARRIS, Dewey Albert, age 92, of Tampa, FL passed away on Sunday January 28, 2018. Dewey was born November 26, 1925 in Tallassee, AL, the son of Flora Mae and Dewey Richard Harris. He attended Belmont Baptist Church for over 40 years and retired from Benton Bros. Transportation. Preceded in death by his son, Lavon Harris and two siblings. Survivors include his wife, Claudia Harris; daughters, Debra Harris, Lavene (Bill) Carter and Susan Durrett; son, Ronald Schanck; five siblings; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM at Belmont Baptist Church, 7830 N 56th Street, Tampa, FL 33617.
