Edward M. Lindner, Jr. went home to the Lord on April 1, 2020 after a long and courageous 12-year battle with heart disease, kidney disease, COPD, dementia and Parkinson’s. He was surrounded by his wife of 52 years and his 2 beloved adult children.
He was always there for his kids no matter how old they were and they have many fond memories of him. “Eddie”, as he was known to all who loved him, was born in New York City and later moved to Tampa, Florida with his family. He was a Construction Project Manager for over 35 years and was well known in the industry for the many highly successful high-profile renovations he completed.
Eddie enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, gardening, classic cars, taking the scenic route, eating, socializing and was always ready to help out a friend or neighbor. He was often the “Go-To Person” when a family member or friend had a question, needed advice, or simply needed help with a project.
To his children, he was Dad. The Dad that helped with homework, school projects and could always be counted on. He will be deeply missed but his family takes comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and that he has eternal life through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
