Elsie Marie Drew

Elsie was a faithful parishioner at Corpus Christi Catholic Church for many years. She had a fulfilling career at the University of South Florida as an administrative assistant to numerous professors over the years. She volunteered at the Temple Terrace library as well as our local hospital. She loved exercising on a regular basis, as well as watching her grandchildren participate in their various activities. She also enjoyed painting, playing the piano, and spending quality time with her loved ones.

Elsie is survived by her husband, Leroy Drew, and two sons, Charles Drew (LuAnn) and Matthew Drew. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Catherine Hugo, Philip Drew, and Owen Drew; and two great grandchildren, Mateo and Lucca Hugo. Her cherished love will be with them always.

Visitation will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617, on April 22, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9715 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617, on April 23, 2026, from 1:00 pm. Following mass, a committal will take place at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
