Frances R. Nelson, age 80, of Thonotosassa, Florida entered into rest on Monday, July 28, 2025. Frances was born April 13, 1945 in Savannah, Georgia the daughter of Christine Madison and Johnny Roberson.
A dedicated nurse, Frances worked for the Memorial Hospital in Savannah, the Georgia Regional Hospital and the Public Health Department in Chatham County.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Nelson and her sister, Yolanda Goodman.
Survivors include her son, Anthony Suggs (Melina); sisters, Helen Lewis (Van) and Frankie Crouch (Russell); brother, Herman Thompson; her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Campbell & Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 2520 Bonaventure Road, Savannah, GA 31404.
