He grew up in Temple Terrace and was a graduate of King High School in 1985. Growing up in Temple Terrace, Gordon was on the very first soccer club in Temple Terrace, it is now called the Black Watch Premier Soccer Club. He enjoyed the soccer club which was co-started and coached by his father, Robert Peck. He also enjoyed many outdoor activities including kayaking and hiking.
Gordon first started working as a Field Manager in Hospital Inventory and enjoyed traveling the country for work. After a few years of traveling, he chose to stay local and be close to his family by working as an inventory specialist in several local Tampa Hospitals.
He is survived by his father, Robert W. Peck, his sister, Sally Hewlett (Brother-in-law; Carl), a niece Ashley, and his nephew Ian. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Peck.
