Guojia Jin

Guojia was born on March 20th, 1944 in Shanghai, China. Guojia graduated from Shanghai International Studies University in 1966. After he immigrated to the United States in the 1980s, he went on to earn a Master’s degree at the University of Georgia in 1991. He was known to be an avid reader and also had a passion for traveling.

Guojia was blessed with a loving family. He met his wife, Cunyi, when they were in their early twenties. Their romance lasted 49 years and was blessed with one son and one grandson.

Guojia worked as a librarian for the State of Georgia until his retirement. During his retirement he travelled with his wife, Cunyi, around the world. They even went to Antarctica on a cruise. Guojia will be watching planet Earth from the heavens now.

Guojia was predeceased by his father, Wenyuan Jin and mother, Jixiu Zhao. He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Cunyi Zhang; his son Siwei (Da Xie); his grandson, Magnus; brother: Guoben; sisters: Weiqi, Lihua, and Weimei.
