Helen Ann Steward, age 88, passed away on Jan. 16, 2017 in Tampa. She was born on Nov. 1, 1928 in Flint, Michigan to the parents of John and Mary (Maizel) Fordos. She married Harry (JR) Steward on Jan. 9, 1947, he is deceased. After retirement she and JR moved to Zephyrhills in the mid-1980's. She enjoyed visiting with her family, and playing cards with her friends in Colony Hills. She is survived by three sons, Larry (Linda) of Cross Plains, TN., William (Donna) of Temple Terrace, Florida, and Daryl (Michelle) of Freeland, Michigan. One daughter, Debbi (Rick) Smith of National City, Michigan, a daughter-in-law, Pamela of Tampa, and a sister, June of California. 11 Grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, with another to arrive in the Spring of 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Lonnie, and brothers and sisters, Al, Mary, Marge, and Viola. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 - 7 PM at Blount & Curry Terrace Oaks Chapel in Temple Terrace. A Prayer service will take place at 6:30 PM. Burial will be next week in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoication.
