June Marie (Langdale) Nellums

June Marie (Langdale) Nellums, 70, went home to be with the Lord at 9:15 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026. She was born to James and Ann Langdale at Glades General Hospital in Belle Glade, Florida on May 3, 1955. June was married to Donald Cliston “Bud” Nellums in Tampa, Florida on September 28, 1973, and they had been blessed with nearly 52 and a half years of marriage at the time of her passing.

June was preceded in death by her father, James Halton Langdale, her mother, Cecile Ann (Crews) Langdale, and her sister, Joan Dolores Langdale. She leaves behind her husband, Donald “Bud” Nellums, one daughter, Amber Marie (Nellums) Vitoff, one grandson, Ethan Michael Vitoff, her sister, Celia Rose (Langdale) Reyes, her brother, James Clayton Langdale (Traci), half-sisters, Barbara (Langdale) Sutton and Linda Langdale, two nephews, Shawn Polk (Janet) and Damon Polk (Adamanais), two nieces (Chantel Godfrey and Christa Boomhower), six grandnieces, one grandnephew, and one great-grandniece, as well as many other loving family members, in-laws, nieces, and nephews on her husband’s side of the family, etc.

June was a woman who loved every person she met as if they were her best friend from the very beginning. She was kind and not judgmental of any soul, preaching that love for our neighbors is of the utmost importance, as it was commanded of us by Jesus Christ. June loved the Lord with all her heart, mind, soul, and strength. She also had a passion for animals, especially dogs, wanting to save them all from harm of any kind.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Fowler Avenue Baptist Church, 6161 E. Fowler Avenue, Temple Terrace, FL 33617. Family members are encouraged to arrive at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at the church immediately following the service for all in attendance.
