Katherine Barber Holland

Born on April 31, 1948 in Peekskill New York. She was born to Helen and Winfield Huppuch. Katherine was from a family of 7 siblings. Four brothers, two sisters. Katherine was a devoted wife to Attorney William M. Holland and a caring mother to Lizbeth, Will, Wade, and Pearce.

Katherine was a tireless worker. She spent an inordinate amount of time working alongside her husband in the family law practice.Bill and Katherine maintained a loving and supportive marriage until Bill’s passing in 2022.

From dawn ‘til dusk, Katherine you would find Katherine outdoors working in her gardens, tending her “ flock.” At the end of day. Katherine,Bella ( her dog) and at times her “ Sister Ditty,” would join her for a brisk 40 minute destination walk which included The Park, down alongside the Golf Course and up to The Community Church. Along the way, neighbors would look up, nod, wave, come over and chat a bit.
