Kathy, I cannot believe it has been a year since u left us. I am still missing my funny dear girlfriend so often. I try to picture U in your happy places now and I hope u have found some of those in heaven.

Kathy and I used to have lunch once a year when I was in FL for the Winter. The first year we met at St. Armonds Key, which she loved. I had my sister in tow and we reminisced about he old Tampa days while at USF with the Ehrhardt brothers who are now joined with Kath in heaven. Such a wonderful, fun loving woman.

Kathy was a true friend! I new her from high school. Spoke with her several times the last few years. She had a fabulous memory! She will be missed. My condolences to the family she was so proud of.

Friends over 3 decades like us do not forget each other. I know you are up there already and that we will see each other again. I will stay close to you in my heart and I will miss you terribly. Love, Shelly

My heart goes out to Tom, Chris and Lauren, you are all in my heart and prayers. Kathy was one of the kindest people I’ve known. I loved sitting next to her at Chris and Tyler’s soccer games over the years! Not to mention the out of town tournaments, we had so much fun. She will be missed by so many!

I was fortunate enough to get to know Kathy thru the Krewe of Grace O'Malley.  Kathy was always fun to be with.  She was so proud when she got to bring her daughter in the krewe as a legacy.  We missed her on the parade route Saturday. She was kind and enjoyed being a pirate with the rest of us.  Kathy will be missed.  Another Angel of Grace gone too soon.

I met Kathy when her children attended Carrollwood Elementary. I was lucky to have the Scallon children in my class. Kathy was such a delight. She was a fun loving parent and a joy to have around. She loved her children and was always volunteering to help in any way needed. Her love for her family made her gleam when we talked about their growth. She was open to hearing about them in the classroom and wanted them to excel  academically and socially, as they did. You could tell that her family was her priority and her love for them was obvious.  

I have watch Chris and Lauren and the family grow through Facebook.  I am so glad to see that Kathy was able to see Lauren succeed and excel through her horse competitions. I know she enjoyed watching Chris play sports. I am thrilled that she was able to watch Chris and Lauren grow up to be outstanding people, watch them marry and then to be a part of Lacey's beginning.  I just feel God had a hand in letting Kathy experience those moments before Kathy left this Earth.

Fly High, Kathy! You will be missed but not forgotten.

Kathy and I were in the Krewe of Grace O’Malley together. We always had a lot of fun  and giggles. We missed her yesterday.

I am so very sorry for your loss, she adored her family and was so proud of all your accomplishments.

Kathy was my first roommate in college at USF. We had a great friendship. Always stayed in touch and stayed at her condo in New Smyrna many a time. She was a beautiful person and always my cheerleader!

Hard to believe Kathy is gone from us.  I’ve known her since 1987 and we met through my ex-husband, who went to USF with her.  I’ve watched her kids grow up in to wonderful adults.  I tried to see her every time in Tampa, last was 8/22.  I will miss her dearly as she was so full of life and vitality!  Gone but never forgotten Kathy, my friend!!!

I am so, so sorry. I met your mom some 45 years ago through my very good friends Rick and Donald Ehrhardt at USF. I even visited Tony and Loren with your mom in Middleton while I was in grad school at Kent State. Kathy had a real joy for life and we had some great laughs discussing our lives and what was most important to us, our children and grandchildren to come. A few years ago I had lunch with my sister and Kath in Sarasota. More laughs. That is how I will remember Kath, a warm smile and big heart. God Bless.

I have many fond Krewe memories but this is my favorite. I will always cherish this day at the GOM fashion show sitting next to each other and chatting the entire time. I will miss her so much, she was a wonderful woman and mother. Her beautiful soul will shine on through the lives of her legacies. 💕
