

He is survived by his wife Kim Papizan Batche, mother June Myers of Punta Gorda, FL;
brother Michael Batche (Kerri) of Hopatcong, NJ; sister-in-law Julie Batche of Houston, TX;
nephews Ryan, Brandon, Taylor, and Zachary Batche; niece Kristi Tomkins; grand-nieces
Lille, Lucie, Lexie Tomkins, and Luna Batche; grand-nephew Harrison Tomkins.
Mark was born and raised in Flint, MI and attended Ainsworth High School. He was a
graduate of Ferris State University and employed by Anixter in Orlando, FL followed by
teaching at John Sexton Elementary School in St.. Petersburg, FL. Mark was preceded
in death by his father Robert Batche and brother Steven Batche.
Mark married Kim in St. Croix and from there moved to Florida. They lived in Treasure
Island where they enjoyed living on the beach and riding his Harley. He loved to travel
and he and his wife took a trip to Fairbanks , AK in 1998 to visit family. Mark loved working
in his yard and detailing his sports car. He was an avid sports fan and rooted for his local
teams; the Rays, the Bucs, and the Lightning. He loved his best canine friend, Ruby, who
comforted him through his long illness. His loving family and friends will sorely miss him.
