Marlice was born in Dade City, Florida, to Carl and Ruby Griffin. She was welcomed into heaven by her parents; her sisters, Erma Jean Schultz and Carlene Ludwig; and her beloved son, Paul Barras Jr.
She leaves behind her husband of 30 years, Ray Vaillancourt; her daughter, Cindy Sailor; her son, Clint Barras; and her grandchildren, Skylar Barras, Zoe Barras, and Paul Barras, who will forever cherish her memory.
Marlice loved to travel and enjoyed several cruises over the years. She and Ray also shared many happy adventures camping in their RV. A gifted musician, she shared her talent with her church family, playing both piano and organ for services. Her music was a gift to everyone who heard it.
Marlice had the greatest smile, and it drew people to her. She made friends wherever she went, and those friendships were a treasured part of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral arrangements can be found at www.blountcurryterraceoaks.com.
