LOPEZ, Mary C, age 86, passed away on January 4, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Tampa on Oct. 6, 1928 and was a lifelong resident. She retired from the Hillsborough County School System after 31 years as the secretary of Orange Grove Elementary School. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Henry Lopez Jr., three daughters, Ellen (Steve) Mackinnon, Marlene (Robert) Perez, and Darlene (Tim) Kocher, her brother, Louis (Zulie) Garcia and seven grandchildren. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Virginia ,Idalia and Hospice Ruby Team for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Lifepath Hospice. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 6, 2015 11:00 AM at the Centro Asturiano Memorial Park. .
