Dr. Nagesh Kumar Yalamanchili passed away on October 14, 2019 at the age of 62 after battling Lymphoma for almost two years. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Rama Devi, and their sons Rajiv and Rohith.
Dr. Yalamanchili was born in Elamarru, India and graduated from Gandhi Medical School. In addition to running his own private practice, he served as a Panel Doctor for the Nuclear Fuel Complex (Department of Atomic Energy). After moving to the U.S., he completed his residency in Psychiatry at Eastern Virginia Medical School, VA. For his Geriatric fellowship at USF, he moved to Tampa, FL, which eventually became the family’s hometown.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and had an abundant appetite for on-going economic matters. Visiting museums and experiencing various cuisines are his favorite activities. He is fondly remembered by his family and friends for his hospitality and cheerful nature.
