

Ramona Alice Klima, 78, of Dade City, FL passed away Friday, March 11th, 2022. Ramona was born November 30th, 1943, in El Paso Texas to Allen W & Ramona A Boyd. Ramona was a resident of Dade City Florida since 1983. She grew up as a military brat, living in many areas throughout the country and even abroad. As a young girl Ramona spent time in Panama and Okinawa. After Marrying, Ramona moved to Venezuela where she and her husband had 3 children. Ramona and the family spent the first few years living on a remote 10,000-acre ranch. After the children were of school age, Ramona moved into town where she and friends started elementary school to help educate Americans living abroad and even local children. Later Ramona owned a toy store and even became an English teacher, teaching Venezuelan Oil Engineers English so they could further their education in the US.
In the United States, Ramona found work with Koala Drug & Rehabilitation, working in the business office. Later she ran a mobile home park, providing living space for the less fortunate. After selling the property, Ramona became a translator and medical transport for people needing medical assistance and help understanding physician instructions.
Ramona was a kind and generous person, a loving and nurturing mother. She was an animal lover, often rescuing animals for care or humane treatment. She will always be loved and will be dearly missed.
Ramona is survived by her eldest son Richard Klima and her youngest son Allen Klima. She is also survived by her oldest brother Raymond Boyd. She is survived by her many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her middle son Kristofer Klima, her father Allen W Boyd, mother Ramona A Boyd, her youngest brother Allen W Boyd and longtime husband Petro Vasko.
