Randall Scott Cauthen, 63 years old, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on July 24, 2026. Born on September 22, 1962 to George Henry Cauthen and Ellen Roche Cauthen in Huntington, New York.

Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Cauthen.

He is survived by his wife, Mona Lisa Cauthen; his twin sons, Collin Cauthen and Cassidy Cauthen; his daughter, Courtney Cauthen; his granddaughter, Kaia Grace Beydoun; his bonus daughter Michelle Ore; his brother, Thomas Cauthen; and his sisters-in-law Zandra Valdivia Dieppa and Marsha G. Cauthen.

Randy has 37 years of empowering people and increasing profits in the Automotive Finance and Insurance Industry. Over $1 billion in revenue to dealer financial statements and reinsurance companies. His skill level, experience, and magnetic personality influenced everyone he met.

His passions include visiting, Face Timing, and conversations with our children, Collin, Cassidy, Courtney, Michelle, and the apple of his eye, Kaia Grace, his grand-daughter. He is a loving, caring, giving, loyal, sacrificing, dedicated, father and grandfather. He made time for his children, whether in need or simply sharing quality moments with them, they are his world.

Randy is a Grill Master! His specialty is Brisket - Texas style and cooking a pot of Brisket Chili with all the fixings. If you have ever tried it, you will easily come back for seconds. He was so happy to share a double portion with his neighbors at Christmas time.

His Colombian Heritage was a central thread of his life. He celebrated the Colombian rhythmic sounds aka “the land of a thousand rhythms” with passionate joy and dancing! He is a lover of all genres of music. The cuisine of his Colombian roots were a delight to his taste buds. Arepas and Empanadas were his favorite. And of course, he is a fan of the Colombian Soccer team!

His deep personal Catholic faith is at the core of his heart. Randy’s generosity to his neighbor, friend, or colleague is a testimony to the magnitude of kindness he shared with all.

Randy’s sense of humor could catch you off guard! And for that magical moment to make you laugh brought him such happiness. He also had a way of being the star of his own comedy show. His skits came naturally. The outbursts of laughter by all of us was the best medicine. He had a cure for our souls.

Meeting Randy in business or by pleasure; will have led you to a genuine, kind-hearted, personable man; clearly an unforgettable experience.
