Reva Sharpless, 97, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on August 24, 2026. Born on October 27, 1928, Reva lived a long life marked by steady devotion to what mattered most—faith, family, and the quiet, enduring joys of home.
Reva’s Christian faith was a guiding presence throughout her life, offering strength and purpose in all seasons. She found deep satisfaction in the everyday arts of caring and creating—especially in cooking and sewing—gifts she shared with others through patience, skill, and a thoughtful attention to detail. An avid reader, she carried a lifelong appreciation for learning and reflection, always finding comfort, insight, and companionship in books. Above all, family was central to Reva’s life, and she held those she loved close with consistent care and steadfast pride.
Reva was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Sharpless, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Dale Page (Brian); granddaughters, Karla Edmonds (Ryan) and Kristen Wright (Chris); grandchildren, Reese and Beecher Edmonds; and Avery, Violet and Oliver Wright.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
