Dr. Rogelio "Roy" Berdeal Jr.

Dr. Rogelio “Roy” Berdeal Jr., 78, passed away Jan. 22, 2024 with his loving family at his side. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School and Southern College of Optometry. He served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy. Roy was an Optometrist O.D. for Tampa Bay Optical and Optical Outlet. He was a good Christian man that read his bible daily and attended Bible study. He was a member of the University Club of Tampa, Krewe of the Knights of Sant ‘Yago, and Unico.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents Rogelio and Daisy Berdeal, and brother Arnaldo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Rose; devoted daughter Michelle (Matt); sister Martha; and many cousins and friends.

He was such a kind, loving, selfless and giving man who will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of meeting and knowing him.
