Rosalyn Bedasie

Rosalyn was born Couva, Trinidad and Tobago to Buddy Baijoo and Phoolbasia Motie on June 22, 1933. She went to school at Balmain Village. She married Samaroo Bedasie on July 10, 1948 in Barataria, San Juan, Trinidad and Tobago. She was a homemaker and a seamstress.

Rosalyn is preceded in death by her husband Samaroo, son Moonan, sisters Della, Meena, and Darlin, brother Boyee, and daughter in law Dolsie.

Rosalyn is survived by her children Chandra and Mo, Shonan, Shamie(Ann), Anand and Suzie, Bill(Deon), Rano and Indra, and Noy(Freddy). Her grandchildren Steve, Shaun, Charisse, Navin, Nadia, Anil, Sonia, Andre, Janelle, Debra, Robbie, Kevin, and Mark. Her great-grandchildren Jasmine, Matthew, Justin, Kira, Aliyah, Brittany, Brianne, Renada, Aneil, Kyle, Aneesa, Tamara, Sabrina, Jayden, Alex, Akaash and Ashan, Aamara, Aaryan. Her great great grandchildren, Zorell, Zeilah, Alia, and Aiden.

Pallbearers will be Bill, Rano, Anand, Shonan, Noy, and Steve.

Funeral services will be held 9:30am to 1pm on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home- Terrace Oaks Chapel with Pundit Kapil officiating.
