Rovidalina Tanya Verona Goldsmith

GOLDSMITH, Rovidalina Tanya Verona, age 41, of Tampa, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015. She was born August 21, 1974 in Tampa. A lover of music and dancing, Rovidalina also loved dogs and collecting stuffed animals. Survivors include her mother, Rev. MysAyana “Margaret” Augustine; father, Henry Goldsmith, Jr.; sister, Le-Toya Goldsmith; aunts, Brenda Longdon and Deborah Modeste (Patrice); uncles, Lennox Longdon, Wilfred Longdon (Debra), Dexter Longdon (Marsha), Hayden Longdon (Denise) and O’Neil Daniel; cousins, Patrice (Katrina), Jonathan, Jamal, Jahmai, Iam and Nikolai; dear friends, Carlene Phillips, Arlene Mitchell, David Osbourne and Carla and Gilbert Theophille and Goddaughter Shannon Huggins; her Higher Heights International Church family; St. Mark Church family, friends from the New Tampa YMCA and many loving family and friends. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2015, with visitation one half hour prior to the Mass, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9724 Cross Creek Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33647. The family invites everyone to wear something purple to the service to honor Rovidalina’s favorite color. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rovidalina’s memory to St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.
