Sapna had a loving and caring heart and welcomed everyone into her home. Her family and friends knew her as a great cook who also had a passion for gardening and creating handicrafts for her many friends and family. Sapna’s trademark was her grace and her beautiful saris. She was deeply religious and a founding member of the Tampa Havan group.
Sapna passed away with her family by her bedside on Sunday, November 1st. She was preceded in death by her young daughter, Ritu. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Amar; her son and daughter-in-law, Rajiv and Komal and granddaughter, Samrudhi; her brother and sister-in-law, Suresh and Sunita Bakhru; as well as her nieces and nephews – Nikhil, Sidhant, Tanu, Vinu, Priti, and Khilna.

Funeral services will be held at 12:15pm EST (10:45pm IST), Thursday, November 5th, 2020 at Blount and Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, Temple Terrace. To allow for social distancing, seating will be limited to 100 people. The ceremony can also be viewed virtually.
