Carrell, Sharlene Johnson 81 passed away on Nov 11, 2025 in Temple Terrace. She was born on Feb 12, 1944 in Bradenton, FL. She was predeceased by her father Clayton Ellison Johnson, Jr and her mother Evelyn Lucile Coddington Shufelt. Sharlene is survived by her devoted husband Ron Carrell, her sister Diane Johnson Toole, her sons Sean Lloyd (Melissa), Brett Lloyd (Amy) and her adored grandchildren Stella and Connor Lloyd. She retired after teaching 35 years in Hills Co mainly at King HS. Students attended her business classes but stayed for her sage advice and comfort. She believed in nurturing students, giving second chances, and third cups of coffee! She loved reading and watching Hallmark movies with Ron while enjoying a bowl of ice cream! She enjoyed gardening and even mowing the yard. She loved traveling, meeting people and retelling those stories. Sharlene will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to LifePath Hospice or the animal shelter of choice. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat, Dec 13 from 1 to 4 at the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club, 200 Inverness Dr, Temple Terrace.
