He was preceded by his Father Silvio D’Aloia Sr. and Mother Rose.
Silvio graduated from Seton Hall University and entered the U.S. Air Force in 1956 as a Navigator holding the rank of Major with the Strategic Air Command flying C-141’s and KC-135 tankers. He also served as a Commander with the Minute Man Missile Mission. He retired after 20 years of service to his country and brought his wife Sylvia back to Tampa, her hometown.
In his spare time, Silvio loved to watch the Tampa Bay Rays, check the stock market, read, study history, but most of all spend time with his large & loving family.
He leaves an amazing legacy with his wife of 60 years, Sylvia D’Aloia of Temple Terrace, son David (Juli) D’Aloia, and daughters Denise Jernigan (Eric Osburn), Dana (Mike) Stanley, Diane (Dave) Martin, 9 grandchildren, and a great-grand daughter.
He was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed. The family will have a private service to celebrate his love and life.
