Anita Cominsky was a strong-willed woman who despite facing many hardships was able to persevere. Anita grew up in Germany during World War II, She was raised in an orphanage until the age of 16. Her older sister, Rosa Fuchs was able to reunite the family when Anita turned 18.
Anita Cominsky was married to Samuel Paul Cominsky, and together, they raised 5 children. Samuel Paul Cominsky, died at the very young age of 42. Anita also lost her oldest daughter Rosie when she was 42. She has 4 remaining children, Monika Evanson, Samuel Cominsky, David Cominsky and Sherri Davis. Anita also had 43 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Anita was able to bring her family together by the wonderful German food that she cooked and the abundance of cookies she made during the holidays.
Anita was a very caring and loving person and always made sure that her family had the things they needed. She was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Anita will be greatly missed, but will always be remembered in the hearts of her family.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Temple, Texas.
