She was born September 20, 1964 in Waco, Texas to Reagan Edward Holmes and Pauline (Ramirez) Holmes.
Brenda was a fan of Elvis Presley. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, the color purple and spending time with her family most of all her grandson.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, John Moreno of Killeen; two daughters, Alecia Tobar and Tessa Tobar both of Killeen; her mother, Pauline Holmes of Nolanville; two sisters, Paula Jupe and her husband David of West, and Yolanda Holmes of Belton; her grandson, Nathan Ryan of Killeen and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple. Interment services will follow in the Killeen City Cemetery.
