My condolences to the family. I worked with Chuck at the Temple VA and he was always a fun guy to talk to. After retirement both our grandkids attended Thornton Elementary school and we would chat with one another waiting for the kids to come out of school. I always enjoyed listening to him talk about his Texas lottery winnings and he was especially thrilled when he would win the 2nd chance lottery and won season tickets to both the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans football games. He will be missed.

So many memories of Chuck and the family., All the events starting when Charlie was in middle school, the band concerts, the sporting events the award ceremonies. Then high school, all the events there, the boys being such good friends even celebrating graduation together, not only high school but college as well. All the events we shared as our kids grew up will be forever remembered. Then there was the band! Stratford-what a wonderful experience. Chuck was the manager. He gave 100% to the boys! There was going on the road and seeing the boys play. Thank you Chuck for all the years of support for the boys. You helped raise Chance as much as your kids along with the rest of the guys! You will be forever remembered and loved! See you on the other side.

Love always,
Pam and Bert Bass

As a former fellow VA employee, I had many dealings with Chuck McRae as part of my job responsibilities. I remember Chuck as a very polite man always being very helpful and addressing matters that needed his attention. My condolences to the families. 🙏
