Charles Perkins

Charles Perkins, age 74, of Temple, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Temple. Charles was born November 7, 1946 in Temple to Raymond and Nina Ruth Perkins. He grew up in Temple and graduated from Temple High School in 1964. He married Martha Sue Akin on November 11, 1967 in Temple. Together they had three boys, Michael, David and Bryan. He owned Perkins Floral Company in Temple. He worked for BFW Construction. Charles volunteered with the Texas Youth Hunting Program and was a member of First Baptist Church, Temple. He loved hunting and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Bryan Perkins, parents Raymond and Nina Ruth and sister, Janice. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Martha Sue Perkins, sons, Michael and David Perkins, brothers Ray and Richard Perkins, grandchildren, Samuel, Emily, Timothy, Kasey, James and Allison.
