Edgar John Haufler III, 59, of Temple passed away April 28, 2011 in a Dallas hospital. A private memorial is planned for Sunday, May 15, 2011 with Reverend Gary Pemberton officiating. Services have been entrusted to Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Temple.
John was born August 11, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to Edgar John Haufler II and Ruby Meiners Haufler.
Mr. Haufler is survived by his wife, Esther Haufler of Temple; three daughters, Cindy VanDerBoom and her husband Wade of Bryan, Alicia Haufler and Ashley Haufler both of Temple; one son, John Lester Haufler of Califorinia; one sister, Patti Oldham and her husband Gary of Belton, and four grandchildren, Dustin Bo Johnson of Belton, Madison Meinardus, Preston Meinardus and Kaitlyn Duport all of Bryan.
