James Albert Oppermann

James was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Heidi Millard Tibbs Oppermann. He was a loving father to his three daughters, Amanda, Becky, and Sally, and a proud grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, who will forever carry his love and memories in their hearts.

James was a hardworking man who spent 21 years working for the City of Temple. Throughout his life, he also worked as a mechanic and oil field worker, always taking pride in providing for his family and putting his hands to work.

Outside of work, James enjoyed the simple things that brought him happiness. He loved fishing, playing bingo, and spending time with the people he loved. And, of course, no mention of James would be complete without his love for Jalisco’s—a favorite place where he enjoyed good food and good times.

James will be remembered for the life he built, the stories he shared, the laughter he brought, and the love he gave to his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will live on through his wife, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, family, and friends.

Though he may no longer be here in person, his love and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Rest peacefully, James. You will be loved and missed forever.
