Born on November 7, 1946, in Marlin, Texas, to William and Geneva Spicer, Janeice lived a life centered on simple joys and quiet connections. She began her career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse before following her passion for cosmetology, where she found great pleasure in styling hair and building relationships with those she served.
In her younger years, she enjoyed camping, square dancing, listening to Elvis Presley, and having her Yorkshire Terriers as loyal companions throughout the years. Later in life, she took comfort in life’s gentler pleasures—watching television, savoring her favorite meals, and surrounding herself with the things she cherished most, especially roses and angels.
Janeice is survived by her children, Richard Craig Bellaire (Liza) and Melissa Reneā Nightingale (Michael); her grandchildren, Joseph Hooley, Bethanie Moore (Colter), Cordell Nightingale (Marilyn), Christina Bellaire, and Richard Alexander Bellaire; five great-grandchildren; her brother, Russell Spicer; and her sisters, Dianne Kasik, Rachael Kougl, and Pamela Monte, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Geneva Spicer, and her nephew, Christopher Spicer.
Janeice will be cremated and laid to rest with her parents in a private family service.
She left this world peacefully and was not alone. In her final moments, she was surrounded by love and gentle care—a quiet reflection of God’s closeness and mercy.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
