Jean Elizabeth Davis Wills

A graveside service for Mrs. Wills will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Tuscola Cemetery in Tuscola, Texas.

Jean was born on October 12, 1920 in Harlan County, Nebraska to John E. and Ruth Branstine Davis. She moved to Waco and married F. E. Wills in July of 1943 in Waco. Jean and F.E. moved to Temple in 1943 where they lived until his death in 1982. Jean worked as a nurse at Kings Daughters Hospital in Temple as well as numerous other nursing homes in the area. Mrs. Wills was an early member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in the Temple area and was active for many years.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband F.E., as well as 5 sisters, 6 brothers, and 2 grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters Mary Ann Wall, Susan Lockhart, Penny Baker, and Jill Pickett, sons Robert Wills and Phil Wills, three sisters Dorothy, Winnie, and Shirley, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of the arrangements.
