Linda S. Taylor-Maple, age 61, passed away in her Temple home November 30. A visitation has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 5, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Services for Mrs. Taylor-Maple are to be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, December 6, at Crawford-Bowers with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Linda was born September 17, 1951 to Olimipo Salinas and Januaria Lomallo in the Philippines and married her husband, Steven Maple, in 1995 in Harker Heights. She was a hairdresser for 32 years with J. C. Penney.
Survivors include her husband, Steven; her mother, Januaria Salinas; her son, Christopher Alan Taylor; two step-sons, John and David Maple; a step-daughter, Rebecca Maple; a brother, Edito Salinas; seven sisters, Lucy Hutton (husband Douglas), Leonila Kearney (husband Richard), Lucia Brussard (husband Dedrick), Lucilyn Salinas, Terisita Lendhart (husband David), Emelia Caranto, and Elsa Pica; four grandchildren and lots of nephews and nieces.
