

Lorin was born on July 3, 1933, on a farm near Bloomer, Wisconsin, to Frank Libersky and Louise (Stoffel) Libersky. He graduated from Bloomer High School. His high school motto was: “Be a farmer; happy, but broke”. Lorin served with the US Army in Germany. Lorin’s cousin, Norma Miller introduced him to her best friend, Patricia Gingras. Lorin and Patricia were married at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, on September 10, 1960. They farmed on a dairy farm in Bloomer, Wisconsin for 30 years. During that time, they were members of St. Paul’s Catholic Church where Lorin was active with the Knights of Columbus. Lorin and Patricia moved to Jim Falls, Wisconsin, in 1990 then came to live in Temple, Texas in 2016 so his son Lynn Libersky could assist with their care.
Lorin is survived by his children: Lori (Libersky) Schroeder of Breezy Point, MN, Jeff (Tam) Libersky of Plymouth, IN, and Lynn (Nita) Libersky of Temple, TX; grandchildren: Jacob Schroeder, Haley Jennings, Amanda Moll, Terry Ojeda, Brayden Libersky, Matthew Libersky and Emma Libersky; great grandchildren: Michelle Machado, Zoe Machado, Kyrsten Moll, Adlyn Moll, Caydence Ojeda, Hunter Ojeda; sister, Kathleen Pritchard of Bloomer, WI, and many nieces and nephews.
Lorin was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lorena; brothers, Dennis and Francis; and his wife Patricia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple, TX, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
