Marian Vernell Williams

Marian is survived by her husband, Tommy Gene Williams; her children, Mark Williams, and Cynthia Gandy; her granddaughter, Grace Gandy; and brother, Charles “Bucky” Stoneham.

Marian was born in Beaumont, Texas, to Charles and Dora Stoneham. She graduated from Temple High School in 1955 and married Tommy Gene Williams on November 23rd later that year and recently celebrated their 66th anniversary this year.

Marian was a devoted mother and wife who enjoyed supporting her family above all. She also loved sewing, gardening, playing Bridge with friends, hiking, and traveling. During her lifetime, she lived in Texas, New Mexico, Indonesia, and returned to Temple to retire after traveling with Tommy to numerous countries around the world. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Marian loved learning and interacting with people everywhere.

She will be laid to rest in Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Temple, Texas following a visitation that will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home on December 28 at 1:00 p.m.
