

She was born in Lowndes County Alabama on December 1st, 1925 to Corrie Holladay Bradley and Roy Rives Bradley. She married Charles Baldwin Pollard on May 6th, 1947 and they moved to Texas to make their home in Houston where they had five children.
Marion retired from the Veterans Administration after 35 years of faithful service to the United States Government.
Marion was an avid bridge player and played with several groups including her friends at the Belton Senior Center. She also loved dancing of any kind, but especially square dancing. She always had a beautiful yard filled with azaleas and many potted plants.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Norman and Roy Bradley, husband, Charley Pollard and sons, Phillip and James Pollard.
She is survived by daughters, Patricia Bartlowe and Alice Rodriguez and her husband, Jesse, and son David Pollard and his wife, Marietta; grandchildren, Sterling Bartlowe, Corrie Swenson, Adam Svoboda, Maria Brown, Marion Vanous, Joseph Pollard, Gwen Parrish, Jack-Lyn Lowrey, and James Thacker.
Marion was blessed with twelve great grandchildren; Aden Svoboda, Blake and Emerson Swenson, Jack and Gage Brown, Grace-Ann, Hunter and Olivia Parrish, Harrigan and Hollis Lowry, Kendalynn Rae Vanous, and Sami Lynn Pollard.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22, at 6:00 pm at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Temple. A reception will be held at the funeral home following the funeral service. A graveside service will be held at noon on Thursday, July 28 at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
