Marshall "Jack" Collins

Collins and Uin Dies Collins, peacefully finished his journey on Earth on the 8th of December 2023.

Jack went to Tuluso Midway High School, graduating in 1960. He started his career with Mrs. Bairds Bread, running a bread route and working his way up to sales manager in Houston, then San Antonio. Upon leaving the bread business he moved the family to Lufkin, Tx and got into the car business for many years. The last 20 years he worked with his son doing trade shows all over Texas and beyond.

Jack married Gwendolyn Powell in 1964 and shared 59 years in love. Together they raised 2 amazing kids, and enjoyed a lifetime of adventures. Throughout their 59 years, Jack and Gwen made homes in Lufkin, Houston, San Antonio, Madisonville, and Taylor, Texas.

Jack is survived by his loving wife Gwen, his brother, Robert Collins, son, John Collins, daughter, Kathy Collins, 5 granddaughters, and 3 great grandchildren.

To honor Jack’s memory, the family asks you consider making a donation to Shriners Hospital for Children, in Jack’s name in lieu of flowers.
