Nancy Spencer

Nancy Gibson Spencer, 75, of Temple, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025 joining her husband and parents in their eternal home.

A native of Dallas, Texas. Nancy studied at Dallas County College and practiced as a dental hygienist in Dallas for several years. On 11-5-1976 she married Richard Lamar Spencer, Jr and they had a wonderful life their 47 years together.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents Kelly and Sammie Jo Gibson.

Nancy is survived by her beloved sister, Lunette Jones. Additional survivors include her two nieces Andrea Chupik and Kellie Eserts and many family members.

After moving to Temple in 1981, Nancy had a long career with Scott & White as a Strategic Account Manager. She loved to work in her church, spending time with her husband and soul mate Richard and was an artist at scrapbooking. She was a devoted member for 44 years of the First Methodist Church, Temple.

A memorial will be celebrated on April 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church.
