

A celebration of her life will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 6th at Cathedral Oaks Event Center in Belton surrounded by family, friends and the countless people she touched.
Pam was born May 23, 1947 in Big Spring Texas, as the only child of James and Irma Vines. She grew up in Big Spring and graduated from Big Spring High School in 1965.
While attending Big Spring High School she met and fell in love with Benny Dale Kirkland and they married in Cooper Texas, October 2, 1965.
The family moved to Belton Texas in 1979 where they went to work at Bell Glass and Mirror Co in Killeen, Texas. Shortly after, Pam opened her own business in Belton with a dear friend….Lynn’s Needle Art Shop in 1985.
Left to honor Pam’s memory are Benny, her husband of 47 years; her children, Kristin Tindell and husband Alan of Belton; son Calvin Kirkland and wife Angela of Duncan, Oklahoma; her grandchildren Coby Kirkland, Emily Kirkland, Erin Kirkland, Sarah Tindell, Regan Tindell and Bailey Tindell.
The family will be eternally grateful to the people of the 8th floor, Palliative Care team and Hospice Unit at Scott & White Hospital, as well as Doctors Patel and Henderson (and staff) of Scott & White Cancer Center of Killeen for their love and care of Pam.
