battle with COVID-19. Mr. Finto was born September 18, 1933 in Pleasanton, Texas to Sam Irwin Finto, Sr. and May Bell Feathers Finto. He married Irene Kohut on July 3, 1964 in Academy, Texas. Together they had one son. Sam worked for Duplex Products in Temple, Texas for a number of years before retiring. Sam lived for the past 10 years in Yarrellton, previously he had lived in Barclay for 25 years. Sam enjoyed country living. He enjoyed working in the garden, doing yard work, fishing and helping feed the animals. Sam was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers and six sisters. Sam is survived by a son,

Finto of Huntsville, Johnny Finto of Huntsville and Milton Finto of Henrietta. A visitation for Sam will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple, TX. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM, Temple, TX with Ralph Noack will be officiating. Burial will follow at Seaton Cemetery, Seaton, TX.
