Stanley Allan Burk

Stanley (Stan) Allan Burk, age 64, of Temple, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Stanley was born June 4, 1958 in Killeen, Texas to Betty White Burk and Houston Warren Burk. Stan was a Master Sergeant for the US Air Force stationed in South Korea and Japan and served in Desert Storm. He served in military intelligence and flew AWAC for the Air Force primarily as a Korean Linguist. He married Amy Carreon Burk, December 29th, 2009. Stan is survived by his wife, Amy Carreon Burk of Temple, Texas, sons, Clay Burk of San Antonio, Arnold Carreon of Temple, TX and Ariel Carreon of Temple, TX, daughter, Betty Jo Fitzsimmons of McQueeney, TX, brothers, Stephen Burk, Moffat Texas and Scott Burk, Temple TX, sister, Susan Carter, Ganado TX and 7 grandchildren. A visitation and rosary for Stanley will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple, TX. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, TX.
